Despite running around Cardiff on the weekend of September 11th wearing some very dubious masks and fake moustache’s, we managed to avoid the attention of the authorities, here’s a little taster…

Lots to announce so here goes…
Our next release will be a double A side single featuring the tracks Shadows & Skin. Both tracks are taken from our forthcoming album Fanatical Love, recorded with former Test Icicles guitarist Rory Attwell (Male Bonding, Veronica Falls, Warm Brains, Fair Ohs).

The single will be released on the 5th September via Barely Regal Records as a download and super limited edition blue cassette tape.
The video for Shadows will be previewed at Chapter Arts Centre this coming Monday (1st Aug) at the next Movie Maker night
We’re also thrilled to be working on an amazing project with the organisers of Chapter Movie Maker, details are as follows:
KUTOSIS album launch: film makers wanted!
Cardiff art-punk heroes KUTOSIS will be launching their long-awaited debut album Fanatical Love this November.
To celebrate, the band will be hosting an album launch night in conjunction with Chapter Moviemaker, and the band want to harness the creativity of Welsh film-makers to provide a video for each song on the album.
The launch campaign will culminate with a visual album playback at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff, home of independent film in Wales.
If you would like to get involved and make a video, this is what you need to do:
1. Have a listen to the sneak preview clips posted below
2. Email kutosis@yahoo.co.uk with ‘Fanatical Love’ as the subject, with:
a. Your choice of song; and
b. A link to something you’ve made before that you’re proud of - could be a music video, narrative film, etc.
The deadline to apply is 14th August.
Selected film-makers will be notified on 17th August. If you are selected, you will be sent the song in full along with further details and lyrics.
Videos must be completed by 17th September.
The videos will be showcased on the launch night at Chapter, gaining both local and national exposure for the band and filmmakers. After the launch, the videos will be uploaded to KUTOSIS’s YouTube Channel and there are also plans to release a limited DVD version of the album.
All selected film-makers will also receive a signed copy of the album as well as other KUTOSIS goodies.
If you would like more details or have any further questions, please feel free to get in touch.
Good luck!

Over the weekend we went down to London to finish the recording of our album with Rory Brattwell. Over the course of 3 days we recorded a further seven tracks and did a fair bit of mixing. Final mixing will be carried out soon and we’ll keep you updated with progress and happenings.
Thanks to Dan and Matt for coming along and also a special thanks to D&T’s Cafe for some great breakfasts, especially the ‘bubble.
In the meantime, here is Ian recording a spoken part for ‘Forever New Skin’.
